ABSTRAK

Cakupan imunisasi tetanus toksoid pada ibu hamil di Sumatera Barat tahun 2023 sebesar 41,2% masih belum mencapai target 95% berdasarkan data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Padang. Puskesmas Padang Pasir mempunyai cakupan terendah pemberian imunisasi tetanus toksoid sebesar 42,57% di Kota Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan imunisasi tetanus toksoid pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Padang Pasir Tahun 2025.
Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Padang Pasir pada bulan Maret – Agustus 2025. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 – 29 Juli 2025. Populasi seluruh ibu hamil trimester III yang berjumlah 59 ibu hamil dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total population. Data dianalisis secara univariat dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistic Chi-Square.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 62,8% ibu hamil yang tidak patuh 60,5% ibu hamil memiliki pengetahuan kurang 72,1% ibu hamil yang tidak mendapatkan dukungan suami. 51,2% ibu hamil yang tidak mendapatkan peran petugas kesehatan. Dalam imunisasi tetanus toksoid terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (p value = 0,041), dukungan suami (p value = 0,005), peran petugas kesehatan (p value = 0,020) dengan kepatuhan imunisasi tetanus toksoid.
Berdasrakan hasil pengetahuan, dukungan suami, peran petugas kesehatan berhubungan dengan kepatuhan imunisasi tetanus toksoid pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Padang Pasir tahun 2025. Diharapkan petugas kesehatan di Puskesmas Padang Pasir dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil melalui penyuluhan yang terjadwal dan media edukasi yang menarik serta mudah dipahami. Hal yang perlu ditingkatkan dengan cara memberikan informasi yang akurat, pelayanan yang ramah, dan memanfaatkan setiap kunjungan ibu hamil sebagai kesempatan untuk memberikan edukasi dan memotivasi pelaksanaan imunisasi.

Factors Associated with Tetanus Toxoid Immunization Compliance in Mothers in the Padang Pasir Community Health Center Work Area in 2025

ABSTRACT

Tetanus toxoid immunization coverage data for pregnant women in West Sumatra in 2023 was 41.2%, still below the 95% target set by the Padang City Health Office. Padang Pasir Community Health Center had the lowest tetanus toxoid immunization coverage at 42.57% in Padang City. The purpose of this study was to determine factors associated with tetanus toxoid immunization compliance among pregnant women at Padang Pasir Community Health Center in 2025.
This type of quantitative research uses a cross-sectional design. The study was conducted at Padang Pasir Community Health Center from March to August 2025. Data collection was conducted from July 14 to 29, 2025. The population was 59 pregnant women in their third trimester using a total sampling technique. Data were analyzed univariately in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test.
The results of the study showed that as many as 62.8% of pregnant women were non-compliant, 60.5% of pregnant women had insufficient knowledge, 72.1% of pregnant women did not receive support from their husbands, and 51.2% of pregnant women did not receive the role of health workers. In tetanus toxoid immunization, there was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.041), husband's support (p value = 0.005), and the role of health workers (p value = 0.020) with tetanus toxoid immunization compliance.
Based on the results of the study on knowledge, husband's support, and the role of health workers related to the availability of tetanus toxoid immunization for pregnant women in the Padang Pasir Community Health Center Work Area in 2025, it is hoped that health workers at the Padang Pasir Community Health Center can improve the knowledge of pregnant women through scheduled counseling and educational media that are interesting and easy to understand. Things that need to be improved are the provision of accurate information, friendly service, and utilizing each visit of pregnant women as an opportunity to provide education and motivate the implementation of immunization.
