ABSTRAK
Cedera merupakan masalah kesehatan pada anak usia sekolah dan memerlukan pertolongan pertama (first aid) yang cepat dan tepat. Angka kejadian cedera di sekolah secara nasional sebesar 5,4%, sedangkan prevalensi tertinggi terjadi pada anak sekolah sebesar 13% usia 5–14 tahun. SKI 2023 mencatat prevalensi cedera kepala sekitar 11,9%–13,2%. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya pengetahuan siswa mengenai first aid di lingkungan sekolah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment dan rancangan one group pre-test and post-test design. Populasi berjumlah 515 siswa dengan sampel 84 responden menggunakan proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi audiovisual. Penelitian dilaksanakan tahun 2026, dengan edukasi tiga kali selama satu minggu dan durasi 20 menit setiap sesi. Analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample t-Test.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor pengetahuan sebelum edukasi sebesar 5,25 dengan standar deviasi 1,129, sedangkan setelah edukasi meningkat menjadi 8,15 dengan standar deviasi 1,187. Hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan p-value = 0,000 (p < 0,05).
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh edukasi kesehatan audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan siswa dalam melakukan first aid cedera dalam kegawatdaruratan di SMPN 25 Kota Padang Tahun 2026. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan edukasi kesehatan audiovisual terhadap pengetahuan siswa. Peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 5,25 menjadi 8,15 menunjukkan bahwa edukasi audiovisual efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai first aid cedera dalam kegawatdaruratan di sekolah.

ABSTRACT
Injuries are a health problem among school-age children and require prompt and appropriate first aid. The national incidence of injuries in schools is 5.4%, while the highest prevalence occurs among school-aged children at 13% in those aged 5–14 years. The 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) reported a prevalence of head injuries of approximately 11.9%–13.2%. These conditions indicate the importance of students’ knowledge regarding first aid in the school environment.
This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design and a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The population consisted of 515 students, with a sample of 84 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire before and after audiovisual education. The study was conducted in 2026, with education provided three times over one week, lasting 20 minutes per session. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test.
The results showed that the mean knowledge score before education was 5.25 with a standard deviation of 1.129, while after education it increased to 8.15 with a standard deviation of 1.187. The Paired Sample t-Test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in students’ knowledge before and after receiving audiovisual education.
This study aimed to determine the effect of audiovisual health education on students’ knowledge in performing first aid for injuries in emergency situations at SMPN 25 Kota Padang in 2026. The conclusion showed a significant effect of audiovisual health education on students’ knowledge. The increase in the mean score from 5.25 to 8.15 indicates that audiovisual education effectively improved students’ knowledge of first aid for injuries in the school environment.
