ABSTRAK
Perilaku menyusui dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal ialah segala sesuatu yang berasal dari ibu, sedangkan faktor eksternal ialah segala sesuatu yang berasal di luar diri ibu, yaitu dukungan sosial. Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Padang, persentase pemberian ASI di Kota Padang pada Tahun 2023 sebesar 72,3%. Hal ini masih jauh dari target yang ditetapkan pemerintah yaitu sebesar 80%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku menyusui ibu post partum pada fase intermediate di TPMB Mariani Darwis,A.Md.Keb Kota Padang.
Jenis penelitian Deskriptif analitik dengan desain pendekatan Cross Sectional Study. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh Ibu post partum di TPMB Mariani Darwis,A.Md.Keb, dan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 30 orang yang didapatkan menggunakan sampling jenuh. Analisis data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-square.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 18 responden (60%) memiliki perilaku menyusui yang baik dan 12 responden (40%) memiliki perilaku menyusui yang tidak baik, serta 16 responden (53,3%) mendapatkan dukungan sosial yang tinggi dan 14 responden (46,7) mendapatkan dukungan sosial yang rendah di TPMB Mariani Darwis,A.Md.Keb. Berdasarkan uji statistik didapatkan nilai p value= 0,000. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan perilaku menyusui ibu post partum pada fase intermediate di TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md.Keb.
Kesimpulan penelitian ada hubungan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku menyusui ibu post partum pada fase intermediate di TPMB Mariani Darwis,A.Md.Keb. Diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan TPMB Mariani Darwis untuk lebih memberikan edukasi yang dapat meningkatkan perilaku menyusui, serta melibatkan keluarga dalam memberikan edukasi pentingnya memberikan ASI kepada bayi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan ibu dalam menyusui.

The Relationship Between Social Support and Breastfeeding Behavior of Post Partum Mothers in the Intermediate Phase at TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md. Keb Padang City Year 2024

ABSTRACT
Breastfeeding behavior is influenced by both internal and external factors. Internal factors are everything that comes from the mother, while external factors are everything that comes from outside the mother, namely social support. Based on data from the Padang City Health Office, the percentage of breastfeeding in Padang City in 2023 was 72.3%. This is still far from the government target of 80%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social support and breastfeeding behavior of postpartum mothers in the intermediate phase at TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md.Keb Padang City.
Descriptive analytical research type with cross sectional study approach design. The population of this study were all postpartum mothers at TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md.Keb, and the number of samples used was 30 people obtained using saturated sampling. Data analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate using chi-square test.
The results showed that 18 respondents (60%) had good breastfeeding behavior and 16 respondents (53.3%) received high social support at TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md.Keb Padang City. Based on statistical tests, the p value = 0.000 was obtained. So it is concluded that there is a relationship between social support and breastfeeding behavior of post partum mothers in the intermediate phase at TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md.Keb.
In conclusion, there is a relationship between social support and breastfeeding behavior of postpartum mothers in the intermediate phase at TPMB Mariani Darwis, A.Md.Keb. It is hoped that the health workers of TPMB Mariani Darwis will provide more interesting education to breastfeeding mothers and involve families in providing education on the importance of providing breast milk to babies, so as to increase the mother's confidence in breastfeeding.
