ABSTRAK
Cakupan ASI eksklusif di Indonesia pada tahun 2022 mencapai 61,5%, sedangkan di Kota Padang tahun 2023 meningkat menjadi 68,21%. Namun, di Puskesmas Dadok Tunggul Hitam cakupannya masih rendah, yaitu 48,9%, yang menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan capaian dan perlunya intervensi. Keberhasilan ASI eksklusif dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor salah satunya pengetahuan dimana, strategi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan bisa melalui media edukasi berbasis video, yang mampu menyajikan informasi dengan cara menarik dan mudah dipahami.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI Ekslusif.
Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-eksperimen, yaitu one group pretest-posttest. Tanggal penelitian 19 Mei - 19 Juni 2025. Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi media video terhadap pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif, mengingat pentingnya ASI eksklusif bagi tumbuh kembang bayi. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Dadok Tunggul Hitam sebanyak 615 orang pada tahun 2024. Sampel berjumlah 30 ibu hamil yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat untuk melihat perubahan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor nilai rata-rata pengetahuan ibu hamil dari yang sebelum 12,07 menjadi 13,97 sesudah edukasi menggunakan media video, dan nilai p =0,000 (p < 0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media video mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif.
Edukasi menggunakan media video terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang ASI eksklusif. Disarankan untuk memanfaatkan media video sebagai sarana edukasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pentingnya ASI eksklusif.

ABSTRACT
Exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Indonesia reached 61.5% in 2022, while in Padang City it increased to 68.21% in 2023. However, at the Dadok Tunggul Hitam Community Health Center, coverage remained low at 48.9%, indicating a gap in achievement and the need for intervention. The success of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by various factors, one of which is knowledge. Strategies to increase knowledge include video-based educational media, which present information in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of video-based education on pregnant women's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding.
The research method used was a quantitative pre-experimental design, with a one-group pretest-posttest. The study dates were May 19-June 19, 2025. The study aimed to determine the effect of video-based education on pregnant women's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, given its importance for infant growth and development. The study population consisted of 615 pregnant women in the Dadok Tunggul Hitam Community Health Center (Puskesmas) working area in 2024. A sample of 30 pregnant women was selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through pre- and post-test questionnaires, then analyzed using univariate and bivariate methods to assess changes in knowledge before and after the intervention.
The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score of pregnant women from 12.07 to 13.97 after the video education program, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that video media can improve pregnant women's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding.
Video education has been shown to significantly improve pregnant women's knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding. It is recommended that video media be used as an educational tool to increase pregnant women's knowledge about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding.
